Christian Union Meetings

A platform for students to assemble as the body of Christ to fellowship and stir one another in love and faith.

Christian Union meetings are open to all and explore the Christian faith in a spirit of hospitality, compassion, enjoyment, and respect. Additionally, Christian Unions work directly with students to share the Gospel and develop leaders with spiritual depth in strategic places for cultural engagement.

The Bible states in Hebrews 10:25 New Living Translation

β€œAnd let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”

In view of this instruction from the The Holy Scriptures, we understand how important regular fellowships are if we are to lead victorious Christian lives and impact our surroundings positively. The Christian Union meetings are the traditional meeting times for many Christian groups in our learning institutions. For Day Schools, that might be the only time they meet.

These moments have sometime depending on the individual school setup, coincided with Clubs meeting time and that has been a challenge for Christian Students who would wish to be in the fellowship yet at the same time being required to attend or take up responsibility in other academic clubs.

As Aflame Mission Team, we have always encouraged the Christian Student to attend their CU MEETINGS. When invited, we take the opportunity to Minister to the many students who attend on a weekly basis. It is also in these meeting that students find expression of their gifts and talents as they serve. The bulk of the meetings we attend in High Schools are actually CU meetings.
