Word Encounter Youth Camp

The Word Encounter Youth Camp, organized by Aflame Mission Team, is back, and this year promises to be an unforgettable experience for teenagers and youth! Set to take place from December 9th to 13th, 2024, this camp is an opportunity for the youth to grow spiritually, connect with peers, and enjoy a variety of fun and engaging activities.

 

Theme: “Your Best Time Now”

This year’s theme, “Your Best Time Now,” is inspired by Ecclesiastes 12:1, which calls young people to remember their Creator in the days of their youth. The camp is designed to challenge and encourage teens to make the most of their youthful years by seeking God’s purpose for their lives. It’s a time to discover how to live life fully and with intention, grounded in faith and values that will guide them as they step into adulthood.

 

Venue: PCEA Booth Boys, Matasia, Ngong

Set in the scenic and serene environment of PCEA Booth Boys in Matasia, Ngong, the camp offers the perfect backdrop for both personal reflection and group activities. Whether you’re seeking a spiritual retreat or looking for a fun-filled experience with friends, this venue is ideal for all that the Word Encounter Youth Camp has in store.

Sharing of the Word

Inspirational and thought-provoking sessions led by passionate speakers who are committed to helping the youth grow in their walk with God.

Live band worship

Get ready for soul-lifting worship sessions led by dynamic and talented worship leaders. This will be a time to experience God’s presence through music and heartfelt praise.

Games & Sports

There will be plenty of opportunities to have fun and get active with various games and sports competitions. Whether you're a sports enthusiast or just love to have fun, there’s something for everyone.

Swimming

Cool off and relax by the pool after a day of activities. The camp offers swimming facilities where campers can unwind and have fun with friends.

Delicious Food

Who can forget the food? Attendees will enjoy delicious meals throughout the camp, ensuring they are energized for all the activities.

Camp Fees

The Word Encounter Youth Camp is accessible to all youth. The charges are:

Ksh 4,000 for boarders (includes accommodation and meals for the entire camp).

Ksh 2,500 for day scholars (includes meals and access to all activities).
