The development of Christian leaders is emphasized in the context of a leader's accountability to God, those they lead, and themselves, as well as the importance of modelling authentic relationships, practicing humility, and integrating faith in leadership.
Leadership is a very important concept that must be deliberately and strategically developed. Leadership is core to actualization of any form of dream/vision. It has been said that things rise or fall depending on the kind of leadership behind them. Spiritual leadership is of great importance because it determines the destinies and general outcome of people’s lives. God is the one who calls and ordains people to different leadership roles…all leadership/ authority is given by God Romans 13:1 tells us, “Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God” (Romans 13:1 NLT). It is because of this that we have deliberately worked on a leadership training program for emerging leaders in our learning institutions. We are aware that our world so desperately need quality Godly leaders to occupy positions of influence so that relief can come to God’s people. Proverbs 29:2 AMP

Aflame mission team has over time organized LDD AND TDD (Leadership Development Day- Targeting High school Student Leaders and Teacher Development Day- Targeting The Schools). Our Trainings are however NOT limited to High schools BUT Covers Even Tertiary Institutions. LDD and TDD is a full day training program usually organized in partnership with a hosting school. It draws its delegation from many invited schools who bring their young leaders to be upgraded. Aflame Mission Team has been consistent on this cause with great results coming out of this system. Today we are proud of the so many Youth we trained who are now in various leadership positions in the society. So far the main consumers of this training has been Christian Union leaders but our desire is to have all leaders come and learn because all leadership is instituted by God.
Our LDDs and TDDs are usually the first events in our calendar every year. This is strategically done to set our leaders on a path of informed and effective leadership throughout the year.
